Returns

If you change your mind after placing your order you are still able to make a cancellation, regardless of the reason, without any fee before the item is despatched. Once despatched, the fee charged will be as the collection fee table below.

Once you have taken delivery of your goods, we will only give full refunds in accordance with your legal rights.  For example, if the goods are not fit for purpose or as described. Chandeliers / lighting - please check carefully before installation. Unless a return is requested due to an electrical fault, returns will only be accepted if the chandelier / lighting is in its original packaging, and unused i.e. not altered in any way, and the chain / wire un-cut.

You have 14 days from delivery [ excludes business customers ] to return goods. Goods for return must be in their original packaging, and unused. If an item or items have been agreed at a special price by email or phone with the customer and Scoutabout Interiors, and are therefore subject to 'special order' terms, returns are not permitted unless faulty or damaged. The provisions of the above paragraph do not affect your statutory rights.

We refuse the right to accept returns if the item packaging is not retained and if it's unsafe for our couriers to collect the item and bring it back to our warehouse.

Reimbursement will be made without undue delay, and no later than:
14 days after we receive back from you the products supplied or if no products were supplied to you, 30 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the order.

Your reimbursement will be made through your original payment method used to place your order. You will not incur any fees as a result of us making a reimbursement payment to you.

Collection Charges

If collection of an item is required due to a change of mind once the courier has left, we will refund the cost of your furniture, less the following collection charges;

- side tables, bedside tables, stools, table lamps, floor lamps, chandeliers 6 arm or less, garden tubs, £20.00

- bedroom chairs, storage trunks, coffee tables, office chairs, chandeliers 8-10 arm, acrylic chandeliers, wall mirrors, french salon chairs, dining chairs, console tables, garden benches, garden table and chair sets, leaner mirrors, large cheval mirrors, £30.00

- Sofas, armchairs, dining tables, sideboards, cabinets, cupboards, ottomans, dressing tables, chests of drawers, shelving units, low bookcases, beds, pedestals, filing cabinets, drinks cabinets, headboards, dining chair sets of 4 or more, bed frames, TV / media units, desks, chandeliers 12 arm and above, £45.00

- Mirrored sideboards, mirrored chests of drawers, mirrored consoles, mirrored TV / media units, wardrobes, armoires, high bookcases, display cabinets, £55.00.

-Dining table and chair sets of 4, £60.00.

-Dining table and chair sets of 6, £70.00.

-Dining table and chair sets of 8, £80.00.

Note: In addition to the above charges, Scotland and remote UK area collections will also be deducted any delivery surcharge that was charged on the original order.

Note: If multiple items are to be collected, the charge will be made for the higher rated item; Only one return charge will be made per collection. 

Discounts and promotions

Please note only one discount or promotional offer may be used per order, it is not possible to combine offers. 

Pre orders

Goods sold on a pre order basis have an estimated arrival date provided by the suppliers.

Please be aware that these dates can be subject to changes caused by the ongoing Covid Pandemic and container shortage thus caused. Scoutabout interiors will not be held responsible or liable to any costs incurred should dates be amended and items arrive later than expected. This does not affect your statutory rights under the consumer legislation act and you can cancel your order at any time prior to arrival and despatch.

The order confirmation email that you receive after placing an order does not imply or denote the completion of a contract. A contract is only in place once Scoutabout Interiors receives the inventory from the supplier and contacts you to arrange delivery. 

Pricing

Please note.  Scoutabout Interiors uses third party apps for various pricing and stock functions, and cannot be held responsible for unwitting errors in listed prices due to software malfunctions. 

The order confirmation email that you receive after placing an order does not imply or denote the completion of a contract. A contract is only in place once Scoutabout Interiors receives the inventory from the supplier and contacts you to arrange delivery. 

Scoutabout Interiors therefore retains the right to cancel any order that is mis priced at any time prior to delivery.
